Istituto Marangoni Riyadh is seeking a highly qualified part-time teacher to teachadvanced graphic design, with cross-disciplinary skills inart direction, video editing, and the use of generative artificial intelligence toolsapplied tovisual communication.
The ideal candidate is a professional with solid experience in the creative industry, capable of guiding students not only in the technical use of software but also in strategic and visual thinking, with a strong aesthetic and cultural sensitivity.
Key purpose of the role
Teach professional use of theAdobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)with a project-based, industry-oriented approach.
Deliver lessons on art direction and the development of creative concepts, with a focus on building visual identities and storytelling.
Introduce students to video editing and motion graphics tools(Premiere Pro, After Effects).
Guide students in exploring and using generative AI tools such as Midjourney, Krea, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, and similar, for the creation of visual content and creative concepts.
Develop interdisciplinary projects, encouraging experimentation and the blending of design, communication, and new technologies.
Provide timely, constructive, and professional feedback to support students’ creative and technical growth.
Professional and Education Background
At least two years of experience teaching at the university level.
English level B2 (courses will be conducted in English).
Proven experience in graphic design, art direction, and/or motion design.
Excellent knowledge of theAdobe Suite.
Experience using generativeAI toolsfor creative purposes.
Updated portfolio demonstrating a creative and strategic approach.
Teaching experience or strong teaching aptitude.
Excellent communication skills and classroom management abilities.
Innovative mindset, flexibility, and a passion for the future of visual communication.
