Position Details

Type: Temporary, Full-time

Location: Wappingers Falls, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, 32.5 hours/week, 48 weeks/year (including summer program)

Pay Range: $16.55 - $18.55 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Implement classroom schedule and support individual student goals.
  • Assist with classroom activities and organization.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Support students during therapy sessions and special activities.
  • Assist students with mobility, self-care, and feeding as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain classroom materials and adaptive equipment.
  • Ensure safety and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in early childhood or special education preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and assist students with mobility aids, with or without accommodations.
