Job Description

Walpole Public Schools is seeking a teacher aide (recess) to work Monday through Friday, 3.75 hours per day, 18.75 hours per week atElm Street Elementary Schooleffective Aug 31, 2026 for the 2026-2027 school year.

Teacher Aide Role :

The Teacher Aide supervises students during lunch and recess periods. The teacher aidealso provides clerical support to teachers and administration.

Duties :

• Work under the direction of the principal as well as classroom teachers.
• Supervise students on the playground and in classrooms during indoor recess.
• Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods.
• Provide support to ensure student safety and emotional regulation.
• Provide clerical support for staff using duplicating, cutting, laminating, and binding equipment.
• Maintain an orderly and clean workstation.
• Assist with student transitions in the classroom and around the building.
