Vanguard Academy (Edinburg, TX) is seeking a dedicated Teacher Aide to support our educational team in creating a positive learning environment. You will assist teachers with lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individualized support to students.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of college completed.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Background check clearance as required by state law.
• First aid and CPR certification is preferred but not required.

• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-classroom activities.
• Contribute to the overall school community by participating in school events and activities.
