As a Teacher Aide, you’ll support classroom teachers by assisting students who need additional help to reach their full potential. You’ll provide academic and behavioral support within the classroom, helping to maintain a positive and structured environment for all learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed staff by helping implement academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Support students individually or in small groups for their self-care and social/behavioral needs.
  • Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Provide support during crisis situations.
  • Use various learning methods to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 60 college credits or higher, or one of the following:
  • A passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment (65%+ on Instructional Support and 70%+ on Knowledge and Application tests)
  • A passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment (combined score of 460+)
Language & Authorization
  • Proficiency in English.
  • U.S. Work Authorization (sponsorship not provided).
Experience
  • Prior experience working with children in structured settings is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ParaPro Certification (upskilling options available for those without standard educational background).
  • Experience as a Behavioral Technician or PCA working with children.
  • Previous experience in a school setting with children with special needs.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly pay: $18 - $21, paid weekly.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekends).
  • Benefits include weekly pay, paid sick leave, and 401K (eligibility required).
