Job summary

Columbia River Catholic (CRC) is seeking a part-time teacher’s aid to support pre-school and kindergarten students at the CRC Preschool on the St. Thomas Aquinas campus in Camas, WA.

The position offers an hourly range of $17.00 to $22.00 and requires strong classroom management, reliability and the ability to work with families in a faith-based community.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, market data and applicant’s skills, degrees and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass background check.
• Strong classroom management and ability to work independently with support.
• Ability to foster student confidence and social relationships.
• Capable of modeling desirable classroom behavior and faith-based activities.

Columbia River Catholic (CRC) is searching for a part-time teacher’s aid to assist with the teaching of pre-school and kindergarten children at the Columbia River Catholic Preschool. The preschool is located on the St. Thomas Aquinas campus in Camas, Wa.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management skills
• At least 18 years of age; and the ability to successfully complete the background check
• Strong classroom management skills, and the ability to work independently with support from the classroom aide
• Demonstrated ability to build student confidence in classroom activities and foster social relationships among peers
• Demonstrated ability to model desirable classroom behavior
• Demonstrated ability to bring the love of Jesus Christ to children through engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Demonstrates the ability to support families and children by living out their faith
• Demonstrates a track record of committing to maintaining personal and professional development to meet minimum diocesan and state standards for educators and staff

Physical/Mental Requirements:

• Requires coordination and manual dexterity, normal mental and visual ability; ability to lift as required in a normal office environment
• Required Activities: Walking, sitting standing, stooping, reaching, talking, handling, hearing, carrying, and keyboarding
