Catapult Learning is hiring a Math and Reading Intervention Teacher for the Lee County, FL area. This Afternoons/Part-Time role supports grades K-8, with two positions in Fort Myers and Lehigh Acres, at $28 per hour.

You will deliver small-group instruction in Reading/ELA and Math in a face-to-face setting, using company materials to support intervention goals and student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Teaching Certificate is a plus!
• Classroom teaching, internship, and/or tutoring experience
• Willingness and ability to teach Math and Reading/ELA to various grade levels
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication

Responsibilities

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students with company materials.

• Ensure supervision of students and safe transitions between activities.
• Enter data timely for attendance, testing, progress reports, and communications.
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Maintain student files per regulations and company requirements.

Math and Reading Intervention Teacher Afternoon/Part-Time | Lee County, FL Position Details:

• 2026-2027 school year
• Grades K-8
• Part-time afternoons
• $28 per hour
• Position 1:
  • Fort Myers, FL 33966 - any 2 days: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between 12p and 3:30p - 4 hours per week
• Position 2:
  • Lehigh Acres, FL 33971 - 4 days: Tuesday through Friday 2:30p-3:45p - 6 hours per week

Responsibilities

As an Intervention Teacher with Catapult Learning, you will:

• Instruct Reading/ELA and Math to small groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face school setting with a focus on intervention.
• Deliver designated instructional models in readiness, reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
• Utilize company-provided curriculum to develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations. Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.
• Perform data entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance, online pre/post testing, progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms, compliance documentation).
• Schedule and attend parent meetings/conferences.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
• Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
• Differentiate instruction: customize and deliver lessons and use data to meet student needs; engage students: foster ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines; grow professionally: embrace training, coaching, and feedback; track progress: maintain accurate student and academic records.
• Other duties as assigned.
