Olympia School District in Olympia, WA is seeking a part-time Middle School Teacher (0.4 FTE) for a one-year assignment. You will facilitate student success through district-approved curriculum, document progress, and maintain a safe learning environment while engaging parents and administration.
The role requires a Washington teaching credential and fingerprint clearance; collaboration with staff, support for student needs, and adherence to district policies.
Job Purpose Statement/s: The job of "Teacher - Middle School" is done for the purpose/s of facilitating student success in academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses of study and implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
This position is a 0.4 FTE/One Year Only. Position works Monday - Friday, 8:40 am - 11:28 am.
Employees will receive vacation leave, paid holidays and additional compensation beyond their base salary as outlined in their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
