Qualifications

Conditions of Employment

Specific Requirements for this Position

Elementary Teacher starting the 25/26 school year - 5th Grade

Must have Elementary Education Certification

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with Response To Intervention (RTI) and Professional Learning Communities (PLC).
  • Experience at the Elementary level.
  • Strong Communication Skills - both in an online format and in person.
  • High degree of team planning with other staff.
  • Demonstrated experience using data to guide instruction, preferred with the use of DIBELS, QRI/IRI, STAR Reading and Math.
  • Experience with DMA Writing strategies.
  • Specific training related to understanding and implementation of Common Core at the elementary level (within the last two years).
  • Experience using technology to track student's academic growth, instruct, and reporting to parents (ie. Class Dojo, Google Classroom, IXL, MobyMax, Zoom, IReady).
  • Strong management skills, use of positive behavior support.

Personally uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures while assisting others in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy.

  • Specific training related to understanding and implementation of age appropriate curriculum.
