Olympia School District in Olympia, WA seeks a part-time High School Teacher (0.5 FTE) for one year to deliver District-approved curriculum, monitor student progress, and support 504 coordination at Olympia High School.
The role includes advising families, collaborating with staff and community partners, and using grading software with professional development. Certification required; 180 school days, benefits per CBA, and retirement plans are available.
The job of "Teacher - High School” is done for the purpose/s of developing students’ academic skills through academic courses of study and implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment, and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
This 0.5 FTE, one year only, position works 180 days per year. This position works Monday through Friday.
This position will work as a 504 Coordinator for the students at Olympia HS.
