Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized, accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas Certification for EC-6 or EC-4 (Standard, Provisional, or One‑Year certificates only; ACP candidates on a probationary certificate do not qualify).
• Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience as an elementary classroom teacher preferred.
• Strong experience with at‑risk / small group reading intervention and instruction.

Terms of Employment:

Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days

Salary:

$64,206 / IA-3

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year.

Working Conditions:

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
