Job summary

The Grosse Pointe Public School System is seeking a qualified Instructional Teacher specializing in Special Education. The successful candidate will adapt the curriculum for special needs students, implement individualized education plans, and utilize technology in instruction.   • POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Provide special education students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. Responsible for planning instruction and adaptation of the general/special education curriculum to accommodate students in the learning process. Function as the case manager for students with individualized education programs (IEPs) and oversee their compliance.

    PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS
