Kingdom Kin is a Christ-centered, farm-based homeschool program offering children a thoughtfully prepared, nature-rich learning environment rooted in Montessori principles, meaningful work, creativity, and hands-on exploration.
We are seeking an experienced Montessori educator or Atelierista to facilitate our Thursday program for children ages 2.5-7.
The role focuses on preparing an intentional learning environment, observing children, facilitating independent exploration, and introducing meaningful materials and experiences. The ideal candidate understands child-led learning and can support concentration, independence, creativity, and collaboration without over-directing.
Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the learning environment; creating open-ended invitations incorporating art, natural materials, practical life, building, gardening, handwork, and nature exploration; observing children's interests and development; facilitating rather than directing; supporting mixed-age learning; and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
As a Christ-centered program, we seek someone comfortable naturally incorporating Christian values, Scripture, gratitude, stewardship, and service into the rhythm of the day.
Preferred qualifications include Montessori training or classroom experience, early childhood education experience, Atelier or Reggio Emilia experience, nature-based or outdoor education experience, and experience with art, handwork, or creative learning. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
We value professionalism, sound judgment, creativity, warmth, strong observation skills, and genuine respect for children.
Schedule: Thursdays, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM, September 2026-May 2027.
