Our teaching openings are onsite positions; Teachers are expected to be present at their assigned academy location during scheduled academy hours.
As a Teacher, you will serve as the primary instructional resource for our students, delivering competency‑based content, supporting personalized learning, and guiding students toward graduation and post‑secondary success. Unlike traditional classroom teaching roles, you will operate in a personalized, flexible learning environment where instruction is delivered primarily through individualized coaching, small‑group support, and targeted, data‑driven interventions.
Using academy dashboards and student data systems, you will proactively identify off‑track students and provide timely academic support to keep them progressing toward graduation. You will work with a collaborative team to provide academic, social‑emotional, and career‑oriented support that empowers each learner’s journey.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Certification (REQUIRED): Valid state teaching certification for grades 6–12 or 9–12 in Math, English/ELA, Social Studies, Special Education, or Science.
Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
Skills: Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills.
Passion: A deep commitment to helping at‑risk youth succeed academically and personally.
