Job summary

Miracle Kids Success Academy and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy in Arkansas are seeking a compassionate Teacher to support children with developmental delays and disabilities. You will plan engaging activities and foster cognitive, social-emotional, communication, and motor skills in a nurturing classroom.

You will collaborate with therapists, nurses, families, and staff; track progress, document outcomes, and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Arkansas Early Childhood Special Education certification or CDA preferred.
• Experience with children who have developmental delays is valued.
• Ability to communicate effectively with families and staff.

What You'll Do

As a Teacher, you will:

Qualifications Education and Certification

A bachelor's degree is required, along with at least one of the following:

• Current Arkansas certification in Early Childhood Special Education
• Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• At least 12 completed college credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or child and family studies, along with documented experience working with children with special needs

Experience

• At least one year of successful classroom experience working with children who have developmental delays or disabilities is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Skills and Abilities

• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children with special needs
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with children, families, coworkers, and leadership
• Ability to work with children from birth through age seven and families facing unique challenges
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy, team-oriented environment
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet-based programs
• Ability to understand and follow safety requirements, policies, procedures, and other company documents
• Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence
• Confidence communicating with groups of families or employees
• Basic math skills
• Sound judgment and practical problem-solving abilities
