Job summary

Providence Private Academy, located in Texas, is seeking a dedicated educator to teach students in grades K-12. The ideal candidate will lead instruction in one or more subjects such as English, mathematics, or social studies and foster an engaging, inclusive classroom environment.

In addition to academic instruction, the teacher will help students develop essential life skills, promote positive behavior, and support personal growth.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience or willingness to teach one or more core subjects.

Responsibilities

• Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in one or more subjects.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet children’s varying needs and interests.
• Maintain accurate and complete records on children.
• Assign and grade class work and homework.
• Observe and evaluate children’s performance, behavior, social development and physical health.
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, projects and communicate those objectives.
• Prepare instructional program objectives, outlines and lesson plans.
• Monitor children’s performance to ensure that they satisfy course standards and objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
