Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is hiring a Packaging Operator to ensure finished tea products are properly packaged according to customer specifications while maintaining the highest quality, safety, and hygiene standards.

The role involves packaging from the production line, inspecting materials for defects, and performing quality checks. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work in a climate-controlled facility; standing for long shifts and lifting up to 25 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Able to routinely lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive packaging and inspection tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Package finished tea products at the end of the production line according to customer specs.
• Inspect tea bags, cartons, envelopes, and overwrap materials for quality defects.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Identify and report operational quality issues such as gluing problems or carton misalignment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment; follow safety policies.
