Responsabilidades

• Develop and establish an end-to-end automated Digital PCR (dPCR)-Based Method for Lentiviral Vector Quality Attributes.
• Analyze and interpret experimental results using analytical and statistical techniques; participate in weekly meetings with collaborators.
• Engage in discussions on design of experiments to fill knowledge gaps.
• Maintain a laboratory notebook and other technical documents per guidelines; provide project support as needed.

You will be responsible:

The TDS Cell & Gene Therapy Development Analytical Development (AD) organization is seeking a candidate interested in product characterization for advanced therapy modalities. In this role, the Co-Op will...

• Develop and establish an end-to-end automated Digital PCR (dPCR)-Based Method for Lentiviral Vector Quality Attributes.
• Analyze and interpret experimental results using analytical and statistical techniques. Actively participate in weekly meetings with internal and external collaborators.
• Participate in technical discussions on design of experiments to fill gaps in knowledge.
• Maintain a laboratory notebook and other technical documents according to required guidelines.
• Provide other project support as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biological Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and related majors are preferred, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of a co-op assignment pursuing a Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's, or PhD degree or equivalent experience. For students pursuing their Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Juniors or Seniors are preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status)
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred
• Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while performing results
• Must be a self-starter works independently while supplying to the team goals
• Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired

Preferred:

• Students with basic laboratory skills and prior experience in research, experimental design & execution, and data analysis preferred.

Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long-term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
