Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Co-Op (Non-LDP Intern) in Malvern, PA for a six-month, full-time on-site assignment from January to June 2027 (flexible). The program provides hands-on experience in biologics development, analytical testing, and lab-based research within a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate freshman pursuing a Master’s or PhD in biology-related fields, with a 3.0+ GPA, GLP familiarity, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Undergrad freshman year required.
• Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological/Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
• GPA 3.0+ across coursework.
• GLP familiarity preferred; experience with biologics (mAbs, fusion proteins, ADCs) preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills preferred.
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• No conflicting internship during the dates of this program.

We are searching for the best talent for TDS Proteins DPD&D Biopharmaceutics Co-Op to be in Malvern, PA

• 1 vacancies are currently available.
• The Co-op term is six months typically from January to June, 2027 (flexible).
• Full time requirement (40 hours per week) Fully On-site.

Purpose

Support the development and characterization of biologics and pharmaceutical formulations through laboratory-based research activities. The student will gain hands-on experience in analytical testing, formulation development, and biologics research while contributing to ongoing projects within a collaborative scientific environment.

You Will Be Responsible

• Supporting laboratory experiments related to biologics and pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Assisting with analytical testing and characterization of biologic products.
• Performing data collection, analysis, and interpretation of laboratory results.
• Following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintaining accurate documentation of experimental activities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and timelines.
• Preparing summaries, presentations, and reports of findings for team discussions.
• Supporting activities related to biologics such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), fusion proteins, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).

Qualifications / Requirements

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
• Currently pursuing a Master's, or PhD degree in Biology, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Experience or familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), subcutaneous administration, formulation development, and biologics such as monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), fusion proteins, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are preferred.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Proven leadership and/or participation in campus programs, student organizations, or community service activities is desired.
• You must not have any Summer Internship contract or other employment commitment that could interfere with the contract dates specified for this position.
