Job description

Park View Care Center is seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN) to step into the key role of TCUNurse Manager on our Transitional Care Unit team! In addition to generous benefits, we're offering a $7,500 bonus!

In this role, you will manage the clinical care of residents on a TCU rehabilitation stay via individualized care planning, performing resident, family and staff education, delegating tasks to nurses within the department in a high acuity setting and assisting with discharge planning. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has excellent customer service skills.

Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Wage Range: $41 to $44 / hour depending on experience
Bonus:$7,500
Location: 200 Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313

TCU Nurse Manager responsibilities:

• Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Manage and delegate tasks to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Notify attending physiciansand family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitor in-house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and assist with discharge planning.
• Maintain current and accurate documentation, assist with and maintain paperwork.
• Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Step in to support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed.
• Participate in nurse manager weekend on-call rotation.
• Performother duties as assigned.

TCU Nurse Manager skills and requirements:

• Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 2 + years supervisory experience preferred.
• TCU andLTCexperience preferred.
• Proficient in MatrixCare, MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
