Qualifications

Job description

Park View Care Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a TCU Nurse Manager!


In this role, you will manage the clinical care of residents on a TCU rehabilitation stay through individualized care planning, resident, family, and staff education, delegating tasks within the department in a high-acuity setting, and assisting with discharge planning. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has excellent customer service skills.


Position Type: Full-Time

Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Wage Range: $41 to $44 / hour depending on experience

Location: 200 Park Ln, Buffalo, MN 55313


TCU Nurse Manager responsibilities:
  1. Work to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
  2. Manage and delegate tasks to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
  3. Work with the DON to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  4. Notify attending physicians and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
  5. Monitor in-house transfers, transfers to other facilities, and assist with discharge planning.
  6. Maintain current and accurate documentation, assist with paperwork.
  7. Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  8. Support the nursing floor and provide direct patient care when needed.
  9. Participate in nurse manager weekend on-call rotation.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
TCU Nurse Manager skills and requirements:
  • Current MN Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
  • TCU and LTC experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MatrixCare, MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
