A trading card company is seeking an Account Executive with a passion for trading cards like Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!. You will close deals, build relationships, and contribute to shaping products while leveraging tools like Salesforce. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of sales experience and a strong competitive mentality. This role blends your career with your passion for trading cards.
We’re looking for a proven Account Executive with a sharp focus on trading cards—including the thriving worlds of Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and beyond— who knows how to win deals, lose gracefully, bounce back, and blow past quota. You’ve been in the game 3–5 years, you live in Salesforce and Outreach, and you’re not just closing - you’re learning, iterating, and pushing deals forward every day.
You love to sell. Not “kind of,” not “when it’s easy.” You get a rush from the win and take losses personally (in a good way, of course). You’ve got a rock solid track record and at least one recent manager who’d go to bat for you without hesitation.
Close deals. Quick, weekly sales cycles that feed into bi-weekly auction cycles and a monthly quota carry.
Hunt. Your edge will be your ability to prospect and bring in new, high-value sellers and buyers in creative ways, leveraging Alt’s data and outside channels. This is a land grab, and we want someone hungry.
Build trust. This is a tight-knit industry. Relationships matter. You’ll become a go-to name in the space by being helpful, authentic, and relentlessly customer focused.
Shape our product. Know what your customers need? Good. You’re our boots on the ground and you’ll be a vital feedback loop to product and engineering.
Build processes, not just pipelines. Daily discipline around outreach, qualification, disqualification, and follow-up. You are polished in a pipeline review and know your numbers inside out and backward.
Are obsessed with trading cards. Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece - you know the sets, the rarities, the reprint cycles, the meta shifts. Maybe you used to compete, maybe you still do. Either way, this stuff runs in your veins.
Are a builder. We’re building the future of how people engage with TCG cards as assets. You’re not here to maintain something that already exists - you want to help create it.

3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment
A passion for the TCG space, whether as a player, collector, investor, or all three
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota and managing pipeline in Salesforce or a similar CRM
Strong communication skills both with customers and cross-functional teams
A “get sh*t done” mentality with zero fear of cold outreach, discovery calls, or objection handling
