Qualifications

• 20+ years of professional experience in systems administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, or Information Systems; Marine Cryptologic Computer Administration Program.
• Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for IAT-III and IAM Level I; CISSP or higher.
• Counterintelligence Polygraph in scope.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and troubleshoot serial and IP-based communications systems and networks.
• Assist Government personnel in maintaining configuration control of architectures.
• Participate in CS engineering reviews and provide technical representation.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems and coordinate installations.
• Coordinate system integration to improve information sharing.
• Develop and revise design, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide network and system administration for the assigned systems.
• Ensure security issues are alerted and monitored (RMF, STIGs, NIST).
• Conduct vulnerability scans (Tenable, Nessus, SCAP) and mitigations.
• Develop POA&Ms and exemption justifications.

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated TCAC Systems Administrator II to join our team at Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must hold an active Department of War (DoW) personnel security clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish, maintain, and Assist personnel in troubleshooting and repair of serial and IP-based communications systems and networks.
• Assist government personnel in maintaining strict configuration control of current architectures.
• Participate in assigned Computer and Communications Systems Engineering Reviews and provide technical representation at meetings as required.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
• Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
• Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared.
• Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Provide network and system administration of the assigned Computer and Communications Systems.
• Ensure the identification of required security-related issues are properly alerted upon by configuring and establishing monitoring, correlation, and alerting solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability and exploitation scans to determine vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Execute automated vulnerability scans using DoD-approved software (Tenable, Nessus, and SCAP).
• Ensure systems are following applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Develop and maintain Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) and prepare exemption waivers and justification documents.
• Make recommendations for system changes to the environment that can help in the removal of vulnerabilities and reduce the risk of exploitation.
• Serve as Lead on cyber tasks and ISSO for TCAC and TSCS Systems Security Plans (SSPs) (Cyber and Acquisitions Security).
• Handle NSA Risk Management Framework (RMF) coordination for NSANet and JWICS for TCAC.

EXPERIENCE:

• Twenty (20+) plus years of professional experience in systems administration.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's of Science degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Completion of the Marine Cryptologic Computer Administration Program.
• Must be Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level III (IAT-III) and Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level I. Require CISSP or higher certifications.
• In scope Counterintelligence Polygraph required.
