Job summary

A leading casino in Washington is seeking a Soft Count team member to handle money accurately and efficiently. Candidates should possess strong math skills and a high school diploma or GED. Experience in cash handling and customer service is preferred. Flexibility in shifts is required.

  • Minimum of six months cash handling experience or completion of training.
  • Minimum of six months customer service experience or completion of training.

Job description

Performs Soft Count duties according to department policy and procedures. Accurately and quickly handles a variety of money.

Pay Range: $18.88 - $20.97 per hour

Education
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Successful completion of Guest Service and/or Cash Handling training may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.
Skills
  • Must have good math skills. (Test required)
Experience
  • Minimum of six (6) months cash handling experience or successful completion of training.
  • Minimum of six (6) months customer service experience or successful completion of training.
  • Currency machine handling experience preferred.
Other Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • General knowledge of personal computer.
  • Applicants will be required to successfully pass an agility test to determine if physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position.
  • Must be flexible to work at Tulalip Resort Casino and Bingo sites.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
  • Must be available to work any shift assigned, including days, swing, grave, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
