Job description

· Report to the PLC Engineer/ Tunnel M&E Manager

· Minimum of 5 years of direct experience working on CREG, STEC, or Herrenknecht Tunnel Boring Machines as a TBM Mechanic or TBM Mechanical Supervisor

· Troubleshooting electrical errors on the TBM/STP via visualization of interlocks and required releases in the PLC program

· Carry out maintenance and general repairs/rectifications of low voltage electrical equipment and systems

· Assist Mechanical/Electrical and Operations staff to minimize TBM downtime

· May need to be redeployed to other projects from time to time

· Relevant experience in TBM projects (minimum 6m diameter)

· Diploma or Trade Certification

· BCSS and BCSS Tunnelling certifications

· Ability to perform day or night shifts underground on the TBM, including weekends and public holidays

· Ability to provide references from previous employers and contacts of two referees

· LTA or PUB project experience is an advantage
