Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time or PRN basis. This position offers 20–30 hours per week, with the potential for additional day, evening, or weekend shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and safety standards
Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate transmission to PACS
Troubleshoot MRI systems and address technical issues promptly
Adhere strictly to MRI safety policies and procedures
Deliver patient care with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) certification
Current ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist R.T. (R)
Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate and population-specific care
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in outpatient imaging settings
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience
Physical Requirements
This role may require lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs, including patients or medical equipment. The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, crouching, and manual dexterity.
