Job summary

Beasley Forest Products in Hazlehurst, GA is seeking a dependable Taylor Forklift Operator for the Dry Kilns Department. The role requires safely operating a Taylor forklift to move lumber packages throughout the Dry Kiln area and supporting the production flow.

You will load, unload, stack, and organize lumber, maintain loads, and communicate with kiln personnel to meet schedules while adhering to safety rules and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Taylor forklift or similar heavy equipment.
• Experience in a sawmill or lumber manufacturing environment preferred.
• Reliability and punctuality with ability to work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Taylor forklift to move lumber packages.
• Load, unload, and stack lumber in designated areas.
• Maintain stable loads and inspect pallets before transport.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report issues.
• Follow safety procedures, and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Coordinate with kiln personnel to support production schedules.
