Pay Rate: $18/hr

As a TAY Program Associate – Security & Onsite Support , you’ll help keep our transitional housing sites safe, welcoming, and structured for youth and adults navigating life transitions.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor site safety and security through patrols, camera checks, and rule enforcement.
  • Support daily operations including resident check-ins, curfews, and shift logs.
  • Assist participants with basic needs like meals, hygiene, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain a trauma-informed presence and de-escalate tense situations calmly.
  • Report incidents and facility issues promptly to the Site Supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

  • Guard Card (required) and at least 1 year of experience in residential, security, or shelter work.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm in crisis.
  • Commitment to dignity, empathy, and safety for all residents.
  • Experience with youth or vulnerable populations is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
