Job summary

Louisiana Department of Revenue seeks a Supervisor in Bossier City to lead a team of Customer Service Representatives and Leads. You will oversee inquiries on billing notices, refunds, and general tax questions, making independent decisions on filing, reporting, and collection procedures.

You will train staff, ensure confidentiality, and coordinate with taxpayers, attorneys, and financial professionals while maintaining LDOR's standards and using the DELTA system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of college or business school and familiarity with LA tax laws.
• Experience in customer service or customer interfacing.
• Proficient in Microsoft programs, email, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CSRs and CSR Leads handling LDOR inquiries.
• Analyze accounts and research taxpayer history to provide accurate information.
• Explain LDOR filing and payment applications to taxpayers and professionals.
• Ensure confidentiality of state information.
• Complete mandatory training on schedule.
• Assist with correcting records in DELTA and processing returns.
