Qualifications

• One year of experience maintaining fiscal or financial records; or
• One year of customer service experience; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic responses to taxpayer inquiries through phone and written communication.
• Examine account issues and help create solutions to resolve discrepancies.
• Develop an understanding of tax laws, rules, regulations, and related procedures.
• Document recurring issues discovered through customer interactions and report them appropriately.
• Explain the steps for completing forms and navigating tax processes.
• Summarize taxpayer interactions and record adjustments and resolutions.
