zTrip is hiring a Taxi Recruiter in Biloxi, MS to attract, hire, and onboard qualified drivers. You’ll lead sourcing efforts, screenings, and onboarding while partnering with operations to meet staffing goals.

The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering a strong candidate experience, and driving growth for a nationwide taxi fleet. Ideal candidates have experience in recruiting or HR, are highly organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, human resources, sales, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Recruiting & Talent Acquisition: Source and attract qualified driver candidates; conduct phone screenings and interviews; build a strong candidate pipeline; promote opportunities with zTrip; develop creative recruiting strategies; participate in job fairs and community events.
• Candidate Onboarding: Guide applicants through hiring and onboarding; coordinate background checks, driving records, and documentation; schedule onboarding sessions; assist with licensing requirements; ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Workforce Planning & Collaboration: Partner with operations to meet staffing goals; monitor hiring needs; provide updates on pipelines and recruitment progress; support efficiency initiatives.
• Reporting & Administration: Maintain candidate records in ATS; track hiring metrics and activity; prepare reports for leadership; keep recruiting activities organized and well-documented.

Position Overview

As a Taxi Recruiter, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified driver candidates. You will work closely with operations leadership to ensure staffing needs are met while delivering an outstanding candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for helping candidates find rewarding opportunities within the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities of a Taxi Recruiter

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Source and attract qualified driver candidates through job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, community outreach, and networking events.
• Conduct phone screenings, interviews, and candidate evaluations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective drivers.
• Promote career opportunities and the benefits of partnering with zTrip.
• Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in competitive markets.
• Participate in job fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting initiatives.

Candidate Onboarding

• Guide applicants through the hiring and onboarding process from initial application to activation.
• Coordinate background checks, driving record reviews, employment verification, and required documentation.
• Schedule and facilitate onboarding sessions and orientation programs.
• Assist candidates with licensing requirements and onboarding paperwork.
• Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Workforce Planning & Collaboration

• Partner with operations and management teams to meet driver staffing goals.
• Monitor hiring needs and adjust recruiting efforts accordingly.
• Provide regular updates on candidate pipelines and recruitment progress.
• Support initiatives designed to improve hiring efficiency and onboarding completion rates.

Reporting & Administration

• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting databases.
• Track key hiring metrics, applicant activity, and recruitment performance.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools effectively.
• Prepare reports and hiring updates for leadership teams.
• Ensure recruiting activities remain organized, compliant, and well-documented.
