Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Global Tax Calculation Services Program in Seattle. You will configure and maintain Amazon's transaction tax calculation software, researching taxability rules and ensuring alignment with business requirements.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Service, and contribute to projects from design through delivery. A background of 4+ years in tax or finance and experience with tax software like Vertex are

Qualifications

• 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and ongoing maintenance of Amazon's transaction tax calculation software.
• Researching transaction tax laws to create and maintain tax rules within the software.
• Participating in projects from design through delivery with an emphasis on testing.
• Communicating tax calculations with sellers, customers and Customer Service.
• Providing SME to Business Development, Legal, Marketing and other IT groups.
