As a Tax Supervisor in PCS, you will be responsible for:Prepare and review federal and state returns, extensions, and quarterly projections, focusing mainly on high-net-worth individuals, trust returns, and affiliated entitiesInteract closely with clients year-round to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely mannerEnsure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategiesKnowledge of Federal and State tax lawPerform tax research to resolve issuesTrains, develops and mentors junior staffTakes an active approach to building network (internal and external) and participates in Firm business development opportunitiesBachelor’s degree required; master’s in taxation preferred5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firmCPA preferredPossess advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws – individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate strong client services skillsBe highly motivated and able to work individually and in team settingsOutstanding analytical, organizational and project management skillsKnowledge of CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM and Caseware is a plus
