Margolis & Villegas Accountancy Corporation in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements from planning to completion. You will supervise staff, mentor juniors, and build strong client relationships while ensuring timely and accurate tax filings across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

The role requires a CPA or EA, at least four years of tax preparation and two years of review, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with an active CPA license or EA certification.
• 4+ years tax preparation experience and 2+ years of review.
• Proficiency in preparation and review of work papers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client engagements.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review tax returns.
• Work with staff to ensure tax returns are completed on time and per firm processes.
• Act as primary client point of contact for the firm.
• Oversee the calculation and analysis of tax strategies for clients.
• Identify and research technical issues to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Provide leadership and supervision to Staff.
• Effectively manage deliverables and deadlines.
