Wertz & Associates in Westlake, OH is seeking a Tax Supervisor (CPA/CPA Candidate/EA) to lead tax engagements, mentor staff, and advise clients. The role blends technical tax work with leadership responsibilities in a collaborative, growth-focused firm.

You'll work on complex planning across multi-state and estate matters, supervise associates, and develop client relationships while advancing toward Tax Manager. Hybrid schedule supports work-life balance and professional growth.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA, CPA candidate (150/120 hours) or EA designation.
• 4–6 years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with tax research software.

Mansioni

• Review individual, partnership, S-corp, corporate and fiduciary tax returns.
• Develop proactive tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Mentor staff and supervise Associates and Senior Associates.
• Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Support estate, gift, trust, and international tax projects as applicable.
