Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Tax Supervisor for a leading manufacturing company located in the Ann Arbor area. This position will assist the Tax Manager in ensuring that the corporation and related companies in the Americas region are in compliance with all governmental tax laws.

Requirements of the Tax Supervisor

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5 plus years of position-related experience.
• Experience with tax research software is required.
• Corporate Tax experience and/or Public Accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with One Source Income Tax Software is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities of the Tax Supervisor

• Prepares or reviews foreign, federal, state, and local tax returns including property tax returns, sales/use tax returns, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.
• Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules.
• Recommends tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues.
• Maintains and updates legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws.
• Maintains compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
