Job summary

Intelligent Staffing in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking a Tax Manager to own a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and business owners, driving proactive, year-round planning rather than just filing season. You will build and execute tax strategies with senior advisors, prepare complex federal and state returns, and lead client meetings with quarterly reviews.

This role rewards clear communication, self-direction, and growth in advanced tax structures, including oil & gas or investment

Qualifications

• Active EA or CPA designation required.
• 4+ years of tax experience with high-income individuals or small business owners.
• Deep knowledge of S-corporations, partnerships, real estate, and investments.
• Ability to explain complex strategies in plain language.
• Self-directed and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Oil & gas or investment structures experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and business clients.
• Build and execute year-round tax strategies alongside senior advisors.
• Prepare and review complex federal and state returns.
• Lead client meetings, quarterly reviews, and monthly strategy sessions.
• Identify planning opportunities and explain them clearly.
• Track federal and state law changes and implications for clients.
