Ryan LLC seeks a Summer 2027 Intern for State Income/Franchise Tax in Austin. You will work with tax professionals to identify state and local tax savings opportunities for Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients in a team-based setting.

The role emphasizes training in state, local, federal, and international taxation with opportunities to participate in hearings, research, and client communications. Hybrid options available, internship completion expected in the summer.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 overall and in major.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service to multi-state clients by identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Assist with state tax controversies, including hearings and protests.
• Research and draft memoranda on state and local tax questions or issues.
