Qualifications

• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex income tax returns, including federal, state, and local income tax returns and estimates.
• Conduct research on various tax matters; interpret and apply tax laws and regulations to the company's operations.
• Assist with tax planning and strategy implementation to minimize tax liabilities.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.
• Manage tax audits and inquiries by various tax authorities, including preparing responses and supporting documentation.
• Provide tax advice to management on business decisions, including mergers and acquisitions, new business ventures, and other strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand and address tax implications of company operations and transactions.
• Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Develop and implement efficient processes for tax reporting and compliance.
