Withum is seeking a Tax Intern in Holmdel Township, NJ to support the tax department from January through April. The role involves preparing and reviewing tax documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations.

Hours range from part time to full time, based on office needs. The intern will gain hands-on experience in corporate and individual tax, exposure to tax software, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

• GPA 3.0 or higher
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week
• Ability to commute to one of our office locations
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills

Job Description:

The Tax Intern will support the tax department in preparing and reviewing tax documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. This internship offers hands on experience in corporate and individual tax preparation, exposure to tax software, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals. This internship begins in January and ends in April.

Hours are based on location needs of the office ranging from part time to full time.

• Junior or Senior Accounting Major or Business related, OR MBA Candidate in an Accounting track program
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week

The compensation for this position ranges from $25-38 per hour. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
