Our client is a technology‑driven, multi‑asset investment firm operating on a global scale. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for overseeing U.S. tax compliance for partnerships, tax estimates and distributions, indirect taxes, tax research, and various planning projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare tax return workpapers, M‑1s, and allocations.
- Maintain and review partnership allocations, 743/734 adjustments, and partnership tax capital accounts.
- Assist in calculating quarterly tax estimates and partner distributions.
- Review partnership tax returns and K‑1s prepared by third‑party service providers.
- Provide support for tax compliance including sales and use tax, VAT, GST.
- Research and analyze complex tax issues.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 4–6 years of related tax experience.
- Experience with partnership taxation required.
- Proficient in preparing partnership allocations, tax adjustments, and workpapers.
- Ability to perform a detailed review of Form 1065 and Schedules K‑1 and K‑3.
- Experience with Workday as an accounting system preferred.
- Familiarity with indirect tax compliance and planning strategies preferred.
Salary Range
$120,000 – $160,000
