The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, you will lead strategic implementation of tax technology, oversee transformation projects, and develop data analytics and automation solutions to improve tax functions. Your role involves managing large-scale projects, building client relationships, and leading digital tax transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance operational effectiveness in tax functions
• Review and optimize existing processes, controls, and technology systems
• Increase automation and data quality, assessing risks and establishing controls
• Design and develop custom tax applications
• Manage tax transformation projects and digital initiatives
• Lead tax technology strategy and system implementations (e.g., Direct and Indirect Tax systems)
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure successful project delivery
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service
• Understand key tax processes, data, analytics, and risk management
• Communicate effectively and solve problems proactively

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; certifications such as CPA, JD, PMP, or Six Sigma preferred
• Experience in financial services, tax software, and process improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of tax technology solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE, SAP, Oracle, RPA tools)
• Experience developing custom applications and using project management tools
