Job summary

Andersen Tax LLC in Los Angeles invites you to join our Tax Services Internship, where interns are staffed on engagements and mentored to build your tax knowledge across multiple industries. You will assist with research, tax compliance, and client service; you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop professional networks, and access world-class education and mentorship.

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field, with a 3.0 GPA, and eligible

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM.
• Eligible students should be in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree or 4th year of a 5-year degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with client and firm management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research of tax laws, rules, and regulations and draft memorandums.
• Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements, including individual, estate, gift and fiduciary tax returns.
• Work as part of a team of problem solvers with industry experience.
• Proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback.
• Support select projects demonstrating initiative while working in a team.
• Demonstrate flexibility prioritizing and completing tasks with professional skepticism.
