UHY in Port Huron, MI is seeking a Tax Senior Staff Accountant to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships while delivering accurate financial information for a diverse client base.

You will work with senior staff to develop supervisory skills, handle more complex tax work, and contribute to timely delivery of high-quality client service in a professional office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant tax experience in a professional setting.
• Experience with CCH Prosystem FX and Axcess Tax software strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and entities.
• Research tax laws and identify opportunities for savings and compliance.
• Communicate with clients to collect information and explain tax concepts.
• Assist in tax projections, document maintenance, and audits.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality work.
