Confidential Employer in Chattanooga, TN seeks a detail-oriented Public Tax Senior to review federal and multi-state returns and support the Richmond tax practice. You will mentor staff and collaborate with managers and clients in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years public accounting, CPA or progress toward licensure, and strong proficiency with tax software such as ProSystem fx, CCH, or RIA. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
• CPA certification or active progress toward licensure.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong review experience.
• ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Research fundamental tax issues using online tools.
• Perform general accounting duties as needed on engagements.
• Train and mentor Staff Accountants.
• Communicate professionally with managers, partners, and clients.
