Job summary

Confidential Employer in Nashville, TN is seeking a Public Tax Senior to review federal and multi-state tax returns and mentor staff. This role supports the growth of the Richmond tax practice and offers long-term advancement within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in public accounting, CPA licensure progress, strong review and leadership skills, and experience with tax software such as ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification or active progress toward licensure.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong review experience.
• ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and multi-state tax returns.
• Research fundamental tax issues using online tools.
• Perform general accounting duties on engagements.
• Train and mentor Staff Accountants.
• Communicate professionally with managers, partners, and clients.
