Job summary

Abacus Group seeks a Tax Senior or Manager to join its Manhattan, NY office. You will act as the primary contact for high-net-worth and partnership clients, delivering strategic tax planning and proactive consulting to help clients reach financial goals.

You will oversee federal, state, and local tax returns, mentor staff, and manage multiple engagements with a focus on accuracy and compliance. CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or Master’s of Taxation.
• Experience in public accounting, specifically with HNWI and partnerships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with tax software and tax research databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA preferred.
