Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a tax preparer or similar role.
• CPA preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of government tax laws.

• Complete and file tax returns ranging from straightforward to highly complex for a diverse client base.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and taxing authorities while guiding strategic tax considerations.
• Examine tax documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and proper reporting.
• Develop forward-looking tax strategies to support clients’ financial objectives.
• Evaluate client-provided financial information to optimize tax outcomes.
• Interpret evolving tax laws, regulations, and industry developments to inform client advice.
• Maintain adherence to applicable federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to their technical and professional development.
• Oversee multiple concurrent engagements to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Update senior leadership on project progress, risks, and emerging client matters.
