EisnerAmper seeks a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. The role oversees ultra-high net worth tax engagements, leads client relationships, and drives business development in a flexible, fully remote setup.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of tax experience, CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, and strong leadership to mentor staff and grow the book of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience with high-net-worth individuals.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.
• Public Accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns with attention to accuracy and documentation.

WhatWork You Willbe Responsible For:

• Supervise a team, foster strong client relationships, and collaborate closely with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment that values exceptional client service and technical excellence whilemaintainingclear visibility into engagement status, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance functions for ultra-high net worth individuals and their families, ensuringtimely,accuratedelivery of federal, state, and local returns, while proactivelyidentifyingand resolving workflow, technical, or client-related delays.
• Possesscomprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, withstrongunderstanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities, and ensure consistent application of tax law and firm standards across all engagements.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy, proper documentation, and minimal rework, whileidentifyingrecurring issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Serve as a primaryclientcontact, delivering proactive tax planning insights, responding to inquiries with clarity and urgency, and supporting client meetings and presentations.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and teamutilization;identifymargin risks, scope creep, or inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve performance and profitability.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders while promoting accountability and ownership across the engagement team.
• Provide coaching, training, and real-time feedback to staff; support recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluation efforts; and contribute to the continuous development of team capabilities.
• Leverage tax technology, data tools, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of service delivery.
• Activelyparticipatein business development efforts, includingidentifyingopportunities, supporting proposals, and expanding client relationships.
• Stay current on tax law changes and collaborate across the firm to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sDegree inAccountingor equivalent field isrequired
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specialization in complex technical individual and business returns
• Recent Public Accounting experience
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certificationrequired

For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $200,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
