Job Overview

The Tax Senior Manager will provide tax compliance and consulting services to clients involved in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate investments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Tax Compliance: Ensure client compliance with authorities, minimize tax burdens, and adhere to firm policies and standards. Prepare and review tax filings, manage data collection, and utilize compliance software efficiently. Lead and manage engagements, build client relationships, and document work thoroughly.
2. Tax Consulting: Develop and recommend effective tax strategies and support other related duties as needed.
3. Supervisory Duties: Manage teams of Managers, Tax Seniors, and Associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics; Master’s preferred.
• At least 8 years of relevant tax experience, with supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting Alternative Investment funds, CPA or equivalent certification required. Industry-specific certifications are a plus.

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., California: $146,000 - $200,000, New York City: $175,000 - $205,000, etc.
